    Independent, not-for-profit and approved by Local Authorities

    As a registered charity, our aim is to improve outcomes for children and young people by providing training, information, consultancy and support for those working with and/or caring for them. Our work broadly encompasses workforce development and enhancing opportunities for employment, further education and the promotion of social welfare and recreation for all families.

    Over the past 15 years, PEYTU has delivered services to a range of clients including Bristol City Council and North Somerset Council. We are pleased to have gained a reputation for providing quality assured, effective services with dynamic and interesting programmes that are highly rated by our delegates.

    Previously focussed on supporting the play and early years sectors, PEYTU now delivers services to anyone caring for and/or working (directly or indirectly) with Children & Young People (e.g., School Support Staff, Police, Park/Estate personnel and Parents & Carers).     PEYTU Qualification Centre
     
    Our aim is to provide a quality service that will support you in gaining a qualification and provide you with the best learning experience. We maintain this by conforming to standards set by the awarding body CACHE; the centre requirements for SkillsActive, the sector council for Playwork and The Matrix Standard, for Information and Guidance.
     
    We also work closely with other partners to provide short courses for continuous professional development, some of which are endorsed and many of which will provide underpinning or extension of your knowledge. Click here for more information.
