    Course Title: Attachment: Theory in Practice
     
    Course Aim: Increase your understanding of attachment theory and its relevance to working with children under five.
     
    Course Details: Explore the impact of early relationships on the developing child. This session will aim to promote understanding of attachment theory and it’s relevance to child development. Participants will explore their role as practitioners in facilitating children’s emotional wellbeing and will be introduced to essential theoretical background regarding infant mental health.

    The workshop will include:
    • An introduction to Attachment Theory
    • Exploration of the development of attachment relationships in the family
    • How to promote early positive relationships in nursery and children centre settings.
    • How to support parents in the emotional regulation of their children.
