"Growing our Strengths” is a new initiative to help ensure there is a vibrant market of effective service providers able to work skillfully with vulnerable families by offering the right support at the earliest possible stage to prevent family problems from escalating.
The project provides a dynamic opportunity for Voluntary and Community sector organisations across England to get together to share knowledge and skills so that we can learn from each other about outcomes and best practice in early intervention services for families.
This Action for Children, Family Action, Action for Prisoners Families and Family and Parenting Institute project is funded by the Department for Education.
You can help drive change and improvement in the sector by taking part in "Promote and Discover” events which are taking place in various locations across the country to showcase your best practice, celebrate your achievements and encourage engagement in interactive dialogue and learning about what works best, why and how to prove it!
